The following Matlab project contains the source code and Matlab examples used for a visual tool that allows to build signals and save them to workspace variables . Just launch it like >> uisignalbuilder() I heavily relied on GridBagLayout (cf. Acknowledgements) to position controls on the figure. Have a look at this other submission, it might save you a great deal of time when designing GUIs manually!
